Another wonderful day course in the delightful and unique Village of Lerryn (Cornwall) where Sensei Richard Morris has his Dojo. Led by Sensei Jeremy Weiss we enjoyed a day of 1st and 8th form with plenty of feet flying. Thank you Sensei Richard and team for hosting us.

Celebrating women in Aikido ….The originator of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba (O Sensei) was a pioneer in welcoming women to practice in his Dojo at a time when it very much frowned upon in the Martial arts world. He actively sought to make Aikido available to all. Our dear old Sensei John Stoner also knew the importance of women in aikido. He used to say women have a head start because (in general) they know how to be soft and not so easily resort to fighting. #womeninaikido #womensday
