Liskeard club changes and taster day.

The Liskeard dojo is moving from a Thursday evening to a Wednesday evening from the 17th April 2019. It is also moving from the Hall into the Doniert room at the Liskerrett Centre.

** Due to a very generous offer by Liskerrett the club is returning back to a Thursday evening, and back to the hall. This will be from 25th April 2019. Apologies for any confusion! **

On Saturday May 4th from 11am – 2pm there will be a free drop-in taster where anyone interested can come along, chat with teachers and students, have a go at some basic exercises and see what Aikido is all about…

Liskeard Course

Sensei Anthony and his students from the Liskeard dojo will be hosting us for our next course at Upton Cross village hall on Sunday the 25th of November. Postcode for the hall is PL14 5AN

Directions:

Head north from Liskeard on the B3254 towards Pensilva, and continue on this road to Upton Cross. Just after the crossroads the hall is on the right.

There is Parking both in front, and behind the hall.

It is unclear if the local village shop is still open, so it maybe a good idea to bring food along.

Membership forms

Due to a change in legislation we are obliged to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulations which come into force on the 25th May 2018, and as such we have an updated Membership form which all existing members will need to fill out and sign.

The change in the law gives you the right (amongst other things) to edit, delete or request a copy of the data any organisation holds about you.

Our school only keeps information for our own use and does not share it with any other parties. If you have any questions about this change or its implications please speak with Anthony.

Teachers please download and print out the new form from here and get all your students to complete one. Please then return them to Sensei.

Junior club starts again next Thursday.

To let our junior members know we start again next thursday (8th September)

Looe Dojo open Day- Sat 11th June 11am-4pm

An opportunity to come along an have a go at the Looe Dojo (Looe school Drama studio)

This is a free taster. Please come along in comfortable loose fitting clothing.

Looking forward to seeing some new faces- just drop in anytime between 11am & 4pm.

Childrens’ class at Liskeard

Just to let you know that we start the Childrens’ class again this coming Thursday the 7th January 2016.

Due to the upcoming religious festivities, our next two sessions will be 5pm-7pm.

This is Christmas Eve- (24th December 2015), and New Years’ Eve (31st December 2015)

Summer Course 2016

The dates and details of the summer course 2016 are as follows:

Venue: Coastalzone, Downderry

Dates: Saturday 2nd to Friday 8th July 2016

Costs: £120 for whole course or £20 per day
(concessions half price)
At least 50% deposit to be paid before the end of February, balance by end of May.

High Grade Day: Saturday 9th July- £20 on the day
