Important date change

Please be aware that the Looe course will now take place on the 30th of October and NOT the 23rd as previously advertised. For further information and directions please see previous post.

This weekend is the Buckfastleigh course and there is plenty of information on this on a previous post. The Dojo will be open from 9:30 am.

Looe Course 30th of October 2016

The next course after the August course in Buckfastleigh is at Sensei Nic’s in Looe.

Here are directions. Please remember to get there nice and early so that you are changed and ready to get on the mat by 10am. The course begins at 11am.

The postcode for Looe School /Community Academy is PL13 1NQ.
Take A38 to Trerulefoot roundabout (the one after the low bridge).

Take the A374 signed for Looe and Torpoint (1st exit if approaching from Plymouth).

After 1.3 miles turn right onto the A387 signed for Looe.

Stay on this road for 6 miles (it becomes the B3253 at Widegates).

Then (immediately after ‘the coddy shack’ and ‘calamazag nursery) take the left turn signed for Sunrising, Barbican, and Plaidy.
Looe school is on the right after a quarter mile.
Park in main car park.
The hall is near to ‘Reception.’

Membership

Please note that membership is due by the end of August. Please pay through your club. Rates are £18 (under 19’s £12). 

Summer Course in Downderry

Here is some information regarding the upcoming course:

Venue: The Coastal Zone, Downderry, PL11 3LW

Dates: Saturday 2nd to Friday 8th July 2016

Costs: £120 for whole course or £20 per day
(concessions/under 19 years old – half price)

High Grade Day: Saturday 9th July- £20 on the day

Camping: We have booked a field at Keveral Farm (PL13  1PA). Click here for directions. There are no laundry facilities on site. Cost is £4 per adult per night, plus £3 per night for a vehicle. 

Food: Tea and biscuits are provided but please bring your own food. There is a general store, cafe and pub in Downderry.

Classes begin at 11am. This is subject to change however, so if you are not coming on the first day, please text Jeremy the night before to check what time the class will begin.

Students are asked to be at the dojo, changed, and ready to train one hour before the beginning of the class.
