Sorry for any confusion but Liskeard club is back to its original slot on a Thursday evening. Next lesson is therefore 25th April 2019. Unfortunately there is a booking in the hall which means we will not be having a lesson on May 9th. So any new students from the taster day will have a longer chance to change their minds!
The Liskeard dojo is moving from a Thursday evening to a Wednesday evening from the 17th April 2019. It is also moving from the Hall into the Doniert room at the Liskerrett Centre.
** Due to a very generous offer by Liskerrett the club is returning back to a Thursday evening, and back to the hall. This will be from 25th April 2019. Apologies for any confusion! **
On Saturday May 4th from 11am – 2pm there will be a free drop-in taster where anyone interested can come along, chat with teachers and students, have a go at some basic exercises and see what Aikido is all about…
Here is some information regarding the upcoming Summer Course:
Venue: The Coastal Zone, Downderry, PL11 3LW.
Dates: Saturday 29th of June until Wednesday 3rd of July.
Camping: We have booked a field at Keveral Farm (PL13 1PA). Click here for directions. There are no laundry facilities on site.
Food: Tea and biscuits are provided but please bring your own food. There is a general store, cafe and pub in Downderry.
Classes begin at 11am. This is subject to change however, so if you are not coming on the first day, please get in touch the night before to check what time the class will begin.
Students are asked to be at the dojo, changed, and ready to train one hour before the beginning of the class.

Spring Course – Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of April, at the Liskerret Centre in Liskeard.

The Spring Course will be Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of April, at the Liskerret Centre in Liskeard.
There will be a two day higher grade course on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd February 2019 at ‘The Coastalzone’, Downderry, PL11 3LE. This course is for brown belt and above.
Accommodation is provided at The Old Coach House’, Windsworth, St Martins, Looe, PL13 1NZ from 4pm Friday 1st – 10 am Monday 4th Feb, (bedding and towels provided to most) check website for details.
Cost will be £85 per person including accomodation. Please bring food!

Deposits of £40 pp are required, as soon as possible, from those wishing to attend.

Directions:
Head north from Liskeard on the B3254 towards Pensilva, and continue on this road to Upton Cross. Just after the crossroads the hall is on the right.
There is Parking both in front, and behind the hall.
It is unclear if the local village shop is still open, so it maybe a good idea to bring food along.
Please note that membership fees are due this month. £18 for adults and £12 for juniors.
